Patti called us to help her select a new shade and drapery for her corner sliding door and adjoining window. Her main desire was privacy and sun protection, but she also wanted to add interesting design elements.

First In-Home Consultation

We meet with Patti at her home to discuss her décor style and preferences. After reviewing various options, it was decided that the best solution would be Hunter Douglas Designer Roller Shades with PowerView® Automation. Since the corner door was a large, expansive opening with multiple shades, we suggested that we create a custom-painted and fabricated wood valance to provide a seamless look. For the adjacent window, we would add custom pinch pleat drapery panels with decorative hardware.

Showroom Visit

Next, we had the pleasure of inviting Patti to our showroom to review the final design and selection together. It was so much fun to see her interact with a PowerView shade, effortlessly adjusting it and discovering its functionality. She explored a variety of fabrics and colors, finding the perfect combinations that excited her. Plus, we shared a beautiful custom rendering of the drapery we would be creating, helping her visualize the amazing transformation ahead for her space. It was a great time filled with creativity and collaboration!

Second Home Visit

On our second home visit, our Hunter Douglas certified installers finalized the measurements, color, and fabric selection so we could place the order and provide an estimated delivery date.
